Riley D. ★★★★★

Plugged this into my laptop's USB4 port and got drive speeds I honestly didn't think was possible from an external enclosure. The controller handles sustained transfers without throttling, which was my main worry. Build feels solid too.

Swapped this in for my old USB-C enclosure and the difference is honestly absurd — full USB4 speeds mean large video files transfer in seconds instead of minutes. The aluminum body stays warm but never hot, even after moving a couple hundred gigs at once.

I've been using this with a 2TB Gen4 NVMe drive and it hits near-internal speeds over a proper USB4 cable, no throttling even on long transfers. The aluminum body stays cool enough to hold after copying a few hundred gigs, which I honestly didn't expect from something this small.
