The surface is noticeably smoother than my old cloth pad, so my mouse glides without that scratchy drag. Vegan leather was the selling point for me, and it doesn't have any weird plastic smell out of the box.

I was worried a leather pad would feel sticky on my wrist, but this one stays cool and the mouse just glides with zero drag. The smooth surface has genuinely made long spreadsheet days easier. Looks smart on my desk, too.
